Subscriber Agreement

Effective Date: July 2026

This Subscriber Agreement governs the issuance and use of certificates issued by the Tauth C2PA Certification Authority. By applying for or using a certificate, you agree to the obligations below.

1. Accuracy of Information

You must provide accurate and complete information during enrollment and promptly notify us of any changes that affect the validity of your certificate.

2. Key Protection

You are responsible for protecting your private keys against unauthorized access, disclosure, and use. You must notify us immediately at any suspicion of key compromise so the certificate can be revoked.

3. Acceptable Use

Certificates may only be used to sign Content Credentials in accordance with the C2PA specifications and our CP/CPS. Certificates must not be used to misrepresent the origin or authenticity of content.

4. Termination and Revocation

We may revoke your certificate for breach of this Agreement, key compromise, or as required by the C2PA conformance program. Upon revocation you must cease all use of the certificate.
